Studying together
I realize know that I've spent for more than twenty year for my education. Sometimes I feel boring...but fortunately I like to discuss something important with my friends. Studying is a part of our lives. Everyone needs to study in order to live successfully. That’s why they try to find the best way to strive to be successful. Everyone has a different kind of way of studying depending on his or her personality. There are two ways of studying. The first way is studying alone. That means we prepare everything without the help of someone else. This way takes a short amount of time and we can really concentrate on one thing we prefer. We will have a lot of time to do anything else. Of course in this way we stay by ourselves in our private room. But, in this way, we have only our own way of thinking, so we have a limited knowledge. The second way is studying together. That means we join with our friends to share our knowledge or to help each other. This way takes a lot of time, because we will find a lot of opinions and we have to synthesize them. But, we will have a variety of ways of thinking. New ideas will flourish from the ideas of participants. In studying together we also learn how to convey our opinion and how respect to other opinions. In my opinion, studying together is better than studying alone. Studying together enables us to enrich our knowledge. Our partners in studying will help us to find the best answer. For example, in Math we will find a lot of problems, and sometimes there is more than one way to find the answer. By studying together, it enables us to find all the ways and finally we can choose the easier way.

SEVEN
I just watched a movie titled "SEVEN". It was an interesting movie. Here is my opinion about that movie:
What is the meaning of seven days before retiring for a homicide detective? SEVEN, written by Anthony Bruno describes about detective Somerset and his partner David Mills in facing the criminal action of John Doe. The story begins when Somerset has just seven days to retire from his work. He hopes to leave the city peacefully, where he has worked as a homicide detective for twenty-three years. But, in the first of his seven days he found the body of the first victim, the fat man named Peter Eubank. It’s not going easy for him.
“You ever heard of the Seven Deadly Sins, Mills? Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth, Pride and Lust”, said Somerset. From his investigation he concluded that the murder was not ordinary murder but a serial of killings. He thought the murder would be followed by another murder. David Mill eventually acknowledges his ability in breaking this case. That’s all right. In the second day, he found again the other victim that was killed in the same way, named Eli Gould with “greed” word. In the third day, he found the Victor Dworkin’s body with “sloth” word and then Linda Abernathy with “lust” word. The murder always followed the list of seven deadly sins. As a homicide detective he related one case to other case and finally found the core of the case. From his story Somerset learned a lot about Doe’s personality. After the fourth murders there were three more to come, envy, wrath and pride.
In the end of the story, Mills killed John Doe though Somerset had prohibited him. So in Somerset’s opinion Doe won in this game because he can realize his seven deadly sins through Mill’s attitude. Mills went to prison, so finally Somerset didn’t retire “I’ve changed my mind. I’m staying. I don’t want retire”.

I'm happy
When I was a child my father used to kiss me before I went to school. I was very happy so before going to school I always waited for him. It's just to make sure that he knew his beloved son wanted to go to school. Today someone just kissed me twice but it's different with what my father did. I'm kidding....I hope so.

Dikau

"Suit yourself....or....Do what you want...It's free country guy...merupakan ungkapan betapa kebebasan individu dijunjung tinggi. What does community mean in this case?

Your Man is Too Small
In the scientific era, it is said that modern people do not need religion anymore. They no longer seem, to need the myths and symbols of the Christian faith. Many thinkers (even Christians thinkers) have suggested that these are outmoded, primitive ways of thinking which no longer useful now. They think that the modern people have become mature in the ways of the secular world. These situations indicate that there is a crisis of faith. The current statistics show us that churches, religious order both Catholic and Protestant are affected. The modern people prefer to solve their problem through their knowledge and tend to ignore the religion. What is the real problem? The crisis exists because of the limitation of the people to use the full range of his capacities. The problem is not as simple as they imagine. Our psyche is very deep and complicated. The modern people are too confident that they can find all answer of their lives. They aren’t aware of the limitations of their capacities to know everything. In reality our view of man is too small.

I love my community
I've spent for eight years in a particular community. This case brings me in this reflection:
Everyone is unique. Uniqueness makes someone conduct oneself in accordance with her or his personality. Living in a community means combining many people’s uniqueness together with a particular goal. That is why it is very difficult to live in a community if we are not aware of the each other’s uniqueness. The best way to build community is to take other’s uniqueness for granted. There are three effective ways to do that. First, we must recognize all the members of our community. This way is very important. Without recognizing others very well we cannot create a close relationship with the people in the community. In this case, we should take time to have some moments when we can meet each person face to face in deep conversation. We must be creative and inventive to do that. For example, we could ask them to eat out, and at the same time we can choose an interesting topic to be discussed during the meal. Second, we need to get used to praising each other. Sometimes we need to say “Well-done guys, great job guys or I am really proud of you”. These statements will support others and build their self-esteem. By praising other we build our community positively for every body.Third, we need to have positive thinking about others. This is very difficult because having positive thinking means that we believe completely that others know what they should do. We believe that they are able to do their duty the best way possible, and finally we support what they have decided. Of course, since we cannot do these things instantly, we need to try little by little. What we have mentioned above does not work without practical actions. Taking each other’s uniqueness for granted is always about practical action. So, we need to practice this in the reality.

Forest Gump
My life is filled with transitions. If I think about my life I remember my favorite book when I was in Senior High School that was "Forest Gump". Forrest Gump is a young man from Alabama. He introduces himself as an idiot but always gets good luck in the all of his activities. He realizes that he’s an idiot but he’s not stupid. He has a girl friend her name is Jenny Curran. He can’t forget her all his life. He becomes a football player and wins every time for he can run fast like a wild animal. He is a best harmonica player without practicing it beforehand. He becomes a hero, wins a medal, and meets the US president for his bravery to save Doyle in Vietnam’s war. He throws his medal away and is thrown into prison, but is released because he’s an idiot. He’s an arm-wrestling player and collects a lot of money. He plays chess well and plays with a Russian, Honest Ivan, the best player in the world. He realizes his dream to make a shrimp business and succeeds for it. Finally at the ending of the story, he meets Jenny and his son and he says, “An idiot? Yes, I’m an idiot. But most of the time, I just try to do the right thing.
Actually the real life is not like that.....But I need to dream little bit....
